Following the success of the Oscar Night, AIT held its first ever Games Night to showcase some of the best student games to come out in the last year. The 12 best games were pitted against each other in a battle royale to determine who created the best game this school year. All attendees were required to play and beat at least 7 of the 12 games on offer to be eligible for the lucky door prize.

Game Design is a broad stream that allows students the opportunity to study the entire process of designing a game, from conception to execution. Students are challenged with learning Storyboarding techniques, Animation, Environment Design, Level Design and User Interface skills. AIT students are encouraged to consistently produce engaging industry standard content, every project that students undertake goes towards their professional portfolio, which is an essential tool for gaining employment in the creative industries.

The games night was capped off with a cosplay competition, free student dinner and celebration for the winners of the event. Check out some of the pictures and video from the night below. See you again next year!
