On Friday, August 5th 2016 join industry experts for a fun and interactive careers expo showcasing opportunities within the creative and digital fields.  This is a unique opportunity for teachers to expose their students to the incredible career opportunities within the creative world!


Learn from industry experts, hear their stories and discuss the future of creative industries through a huge selection of speeches, presentations and panel discussions. Join creative workshops for focusing on web design, Photoshop, coding, animation, illustration, character design, games design, film making and more. Students will be exposed to the latest developments in:

  • Film
  • IT
  • Animation
  • Games
  • Graphic Design
  • Programming
  • Web Development
  • Apps
  • Virtual Reality
  • And More

Essential Information:

Limited Space:  25 students per school (2 teachers per school)

Day Format:  Each 3 hour session will feature a range of creative workshops, presentations and panel discussions. All students will undertake a workshop and attend presentation/panel discussions of their choice. Please note due to time commitments, each guest speaker will generally present 1 or 2 sessions throughout the day.

Cost: FREE

Transport: AIT is located opposite Southern Cross Train Station, 120 Spencer Street MEL.

Registration:  Please book your tickets using the Eventbrite booking button. Select either the morning or the afternoon session. Select the number of attendees you will be bringing INCLUDING teachers. Closer to the event, AIT will release a schedule of speakers and workshops and students will be able to pre-select their sessions.

In the workshops, students got some hands on experience from AIT teachers in subjects such as Drawing, 3D Modelling, Games Design, 2D Animation, Film Editing and Stop Motion Animation. The workshops provided a taste of what AIT students produce in their Degrees and Diplomas. You never know what skill you might find out you have until you try it!
